Why do chilled beams have higher energy than fan coil units or VRF?

The chilled beam systems have higher default central air handling unit air supply values because in the worst case design they need to do more dehumidification than the other systems.
Active chilled beams in particular are often designed to have much higher minimum outside air than fan coils because it also reduces upfront cost.
We wanted to reflect these design properties in the Sefaira web application. If you want to compare apples to apples for these systems, change the airflow in the Central Air Handling Unit to 1.5l/s/m2 (0.3cfm/sqft).
