All of the HVAC systems use EnergyPlus “HVAC Templates” as the basis for the systems. These are standard HVAC system types that come with EnergyPlus, designed to be representative of simple implementation of different systems.
The table below summarizes which basic HVAC template we use for each of the HVAC systems currently in Sefaira:

Systems that work from the same HVAC “Expand Objects” template will tend to have very similar characteristics. Similar systems that work from different “expand objects” templates could end up being quite different, even if the systems are very similar.
