After you have generated Sefaira views, the two parameters Sefaira creates, Ignore for Sefaira and Shading for Sefaira will show up as a grey check mark.
This is the default state for new parameters when they are pragmatically created in Revit. They do not imply the box is checked, just that no value has been set yet (it's neither true nor false). The boxes can be left with the grey check marks without adversely impacting the analysis. If you check one of the boxes, the check mark will be a darker black with white background and the item will then either be ignored or considered as shading (depending on whichever box you check).
What effect does it have, to check things as shading or "ignore"
