Minimum System Requirements for Sefaira

3D Authoring

Sefaira uses geometry from one of two 3D authoring platforms, SketchUp or Revit. You must have at least one of these to study your own geometry in Sefaira. The following versions are officially supported:

• SketchUp 2023, 2022 and 2021
• Revit 2023, 2022 and 2021

Sefaira may work on older versions but if you run into bugs with those versions we may not be able to support you properly.

Note that if you have Sefaira through a SketchUp Studio subscription you automatically have access to the most recent version of SketchUp.

Operating System

We officially support the following operating systems:

• Windows 8.1
• Windows 10
• Mac OS  

Web Browser for Web-Application

If you want to compare options side-by-side or detailed analysis, you will need to use the Sefaira Web-app. This runs in a web browser and we only officially support the following browsers:

• Google Chrome
• Safari
• Firefox
• Internet Explorer 11

Note: although we officially support IE11, Sefaira works better in Safari and Google Chrome.

Cookies

Cookies are used in our web-browsers to improve performance and limit the number of times we need to query information from the cloud servers. We strongly recommend accepting cookies from Sefaira. If you choose not to accept cookies from Sefaira, it is very likely that Sefaira will end up too slow to work properly.
