Often times, especially for a site location in an urban area, there are surrounding buildings and context massing that will impact the building performance and daylighting.  In SketchUp, Sefaira can accurately capture these items.  Here's how:

1. Draw in each contextual building or item.  

They do not have to be exactly replicated buildings - a simple outline of the envelope will do.  

2. Show 'Entity Types'.  

(Not sure how? Visit our article on the topic).  The contextual massings will be tagged as walls, roofs, floors.  Select each context item and re-assign all types to be 'Shading'.
